We are off and running this week…Monday night home basketball game, Tuesday night basketball game away, Wednesday church, Saturday night home girls basketball game. Thursday and Friday night we can stay home and rest up for the weekend.
On Friday I took the day off to go to the densest and then pick up leaves pick up in Goshen. Friday night we stayed home and Lizzie and Brandon made Chocolate cookies…Yummy. This was the first Friday night since Aug 14th that we been home. We will enjoy this while it lasts…NW Basketball is the next High school sport.
Saturday morning I was up early to take Lizzie to an Upwards cheer meeting and then pick up Scott and a friend up from a guys overnighter at the church. Then back to Nappanee Saturday night to pick Lizzie up for a Northwood Girls' basketball game. NW Girl's won both the JV and the Varsity game. The varsity game the NW girls came from a 15 point deficit to beat Jimtown girls. Then after the girls' game we we're home in time to watch ND lose…bummer.
Sunday morning we were off to church. Sunday afternoon and evening we stay home and that was so nice and watches movies and Colts football. Doesn't get any better than that on a Sunday afternoon.
With Basketball season tipping off this week I thought it would be fun to find some basketball movies to watch when you're not cheering on your favorite basketball team.

The rebounding and defensive effort was carried throughout by the entire team. The B Teams next game is Monday November 16th at home against Pierre Moran.
NWMS boys' basketball tips off tonight at 4:30. Scott is a little nervous about tonight ball game and I would be nervous to about tonight game. Other then Upward basketball last year Scott doesn't play much basketball…you could say that basketball is not is "passion". If Scott could play Football year round he would… I'm glad that he is playing basketball this year and not just because of me wanting him to.
Congratulations to the NorthWood competition cheerleading squad on their outstanding performance at the State Competition on Saturday. They beat the four-time champion Dwenger squad to become Runner-Up in the State of Indiana.

There are no guarantees in the outcome of tonight's Northwood – Jimtown game. All I can say it's going to be a great game. You have two well balance teams playing for 3A sectional 18 crown. Since Jimtown moved up to Class 3A this season so this will be the first postseason meeting between the two highly successful programs which have captured a combined 161 playoff victories, 34 sectional titles, 21 regional championships, 11 semistate crowns and five state titles. Jimtown won back on Aug 21st in overtime 13 – 10. So Jimtown is going to try and win their 1st 3A Sectional title game tonight. Both teams are playing so much better on both side of the ball since the first meeting back in Aug. Northwood will win hard or go down fighting to the end.
Game on!!!
Northwood High School has allot to cheer about this weekend...Friday night Northwood is playing for Sectional 18 3A crown…Saturday the NW cheerleaders is off to state for a State Crown!! Ok Panther fans...Come out and cheer on your teams...
